Two years on the brink, a whole life ahead

Andriiko's parents learned about his diagnosis during pregnancy, at the third screening. "Congenital brain malformation". Unfortunately, an MRI of the child's brain confirmed the diagnosis. Thus began the struggle for a small, unborn life.

Despite this, Andriiko was born on time and was discharged home on the 11th day. He grew and developed, but then something terrible happened: at 7.5 months, the boy suffered a serious infection that brought him to the brink of death. He also underwent a difficult intestinal surgery and blood transfusions. After that, a new stage began – recovery. Andrii could not sit, crawl, or even eat on his own. But misfortune did not leave this family, because at one year and one month old, Andriiko again fell seriously ill and had to be resuscitated several times, and he had to relearn how to do basic things.

Andrii is now two years old and is learning to sit, eat, talk, walk, crawl, understand, and see the world clearly. The boy still cannot crawl, stand, or walk on his own, is completely dependent on his mother, cannot chew, and has impaired coordination. 

Despite this, Andriiko is an emotional and active child who is interested in toys, babbles, and understands spoken language. Currently, the boy needs rehabilitation: physical therapy and occupational therapy. Please help us raise funds for Andriiko's treatment, he desperately needs it!
