4-year-old Emilia is very active, cheerful and positive. The girl loves to have fun and, despite her illness, enjoys life. Unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which spoils the child's life and does not allow her mother to relax day or night.

Sugar is a hidden and insidious enemy, so people with diabetes need to have their blood sugar measured around the clock. This is especially true for children. Thanks to the sensors that philanthropists help Emilia with, the girl can have a good time with her children, visit the kindergarten for a few hours, and even eat something tasty. Her mother has already learned to compensate for her daughter's blood sugar by choosing the right food.

At night, her mother can sleep peacefully because she knows that the sensor will definitely give a signal if the sugar level drops or rises. Thanks to the sensors, the girl and her mother are able to simply live. So little is needed for a mother to be happy with her daughter.

Today, the mother does not have the funds needed to provide Emilia with sensors. The state does not provide this equipment for sick children free of charge. Hope remains only for philanthropists.
