Evacuation bus

Every day our organization delivers hundreds of food packages for needy people in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, evacuates people from hot spots, delivers generators, stoves, household items, goods for children, hygiene products, warm clothes and much more. 

Our vehicle (a 2003 Volkswagen Transporter T5 cargo and passenger vehicle) has been under fire several times and broken down on intercity roads, but it is our faithful friend and comrade-in-arms.  To date, the vehicle has already covered hundreds of thousands of kilometers, evacuating people and delivering tons of humanitarian aid from the first days of the war. 

But, due to the constant loads, unfortunately, our Volkswagen can no longer help us with cargo and serious multi-ton deliveries. We continue to use what we have, but we have to make many trips, instead of one meaningful one, and return to the warehouses several times, because we cannot load everything at once. In the conditions of war, time is one of the most valuable resources, and it is extremely irrational to spend it on additional trips.

Now our goal is to raise funds for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316 with cargo and passenger configuration for the following tasks:

• evacuation of people from the communities to which we bring aid; 

• delivery of large volumes of humanitarian cargo to Kharkiv and Donetsk regions; 

• delivery of a large number of packaged sets of food, hygiene, distribution from the car;

• transportation of a large number of volunteers to the support points at once;

• organization of logistics within the warehouses of the organization.

We need this particular model of car, because it is ideally suited to the current tasks of the organization, can both transport large loads and more than 9 people at a time, and can also be a combined option when it is necessary to transport both people and cargo in 1 trip. 

Such a vehicle will speed up the organization's activities almost 4 times. It will allow to deliver heavy loads to the "hot" spots of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, to evacuate the population, to fully optimize the work of delivery and shipment of aid. In addition, we will be able to save fuel costs at least 4 times.
