Today, every fifth elderly person is single. Among them, a significant proportion of people who have crossed the 80-year mark and cannot take care of themselves on their own. And the illness also complicates life – most of our wards are sedentary or immobile, forever bedridden... Their meager pension is not enough for anything... Their living conditions leave much to be desired – clothes are worn out, bed is faded and blackened, towels are more they look like rags, and what can we say about pots, pans ... They do not look much like kitchen utensils, rather like rusty cans ...

For more than 19 years, СO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" has not left elderly people alone with their grief and problems. Caritas employees are trying to provide the highest quality assistance, taking into account not only physical, but also spiritual and psychological problems of a person.

Dear benefactors, we have already addressed you many times. Today, your help and support is extremely necessary for lonely elderly people to give them the opportunity to somehow bring their living conditions to a satisfactory, worthy person.

Today, essential goods, in particular tableware, are in need of 15 people from among the elderly and persons with disabilities. In total, we need to collect UAH 31,904. Unfortunately, we are unable to purchase goods in the required quantity. Therefore, we ask each of you to take part in the charitable initiative and help the elderly to live their lives with dignity. They need help from each of us.
