The war turned the life of every Ukrainian into "before" and "after". In life "before" there was a warm bed, a private bathroom, hot tap water and all amenities at hand. In the "after" life, many of us are learning to live in a new reality – water from a ladle instead of a morning shower, a sleeping bag instead of a bed, a bucket instead of a toilet room.

It is especially difficult in these conditions for people with dysuric disorders (impaired urination) and women during menstruation, because access to basic hygiene products is completely absent. These people are forced to use improvised materials, fabric cuts, in order to somehow satisfy this physiological need. In war conditions, when people spend almost all their time in storage and do not have laundry, the need to use disposable personal hygiene products is especially acute.

In addition, there is an urgent need for other basic products – toilet paper, toothbrushes and pastes, liquid and bar soap, wet wipes, etc.
The team of the Ukrainian Charitable Alliance appeals to all concerned people to help us raise funds for the purchase of these hygiene products. We ask you to work together to provide the most necessary for those people who are constantly in shelters and bomb shelters.

UPD: the name and text of the project have been updated. Old project name: "Hygiene for the elderly".
