Laptops for immigrant children

It all started in 2009 when the Kimlyk family – Angela and her husband –adopted two little sisters, Iryna and Lila.  And in 2014, the couple had a desire to give love to other children, so they transformed their foster family turned into a family-type orphanage. The same year, the family took in 5 more children, the Pushkarsky siblings, three of whom have already graduated: two girls have their own families, and the boy is serving in the Armed Forces. In 2016, the family was expanded by 4 more children, the Brunko siblings. 

Now the family has a total of 8 children: the eldest children, Iryna and Liliya, entered Kharkiv National Air Force University this year, Serhii is studying to become a car mechanic; and the other five are schoolchildren, studying at their home school online, also doing karate, and enjoying drawing and modeling with clay. 

Previously, the family lived in their own house by the sea in Lazurne, Kherson region, where all the necessary and comfortable conditions for the children were created. But due to the full-scale invasion of russia, the family had to survive the occupation. After 1.5 months, the family found an opportunity to leave and move to Kryvyi Rih. The family lost everything they had accumulated over the years. When they left, everyone took only a backpack with the most necessary things, and when they got to the city, it was difficult to find a place to rent because the family was large and not everyone wanted to rent, and large houses with enough space for everyone were too expensive. Now the family is living in their third apartment, and they will have to move out soon.

Unfortunately, the family does not have enough technology to teach their children, and they have to study and connect to lessons via phone. Therefore, the goal of this project is to provide the family with two laptops, which will greatly facilitate the learning process and make it more efficient.
