Glib: I can't be defeated

6-year-old Glib has been sick all his life. The boy has cerebral palsy, symptomatic epilepsy and severe psychomotor retardation. He was born half-alive, the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck, and his heartbeat went off scale. Glib suffered cerebral edema, he developed convulsions, then there was resuscitation, later – drug sleep and a number of diagnoses that have accompanied the boy so far.

Glib was undergoing therapy: classes with rehabilitation specialists in specialized centers helped him. After such classes, the boy acquired new skills, his condition improved each time. Thanks to systematic treatment, Glib began to express emotions, pronounce certain syllables and even walk, his body became more obedient, his arms and legs got stronger.

Then the war began, which brought us all a lot of grief. The family was forced to temporarily leave their home in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but now they have returned home to Volnogirsk. Glib's condition, unfortunately, worsened: the boy had a “rollback”, and epileptic seizures reappeared. However, the doctor prescribed the boy a new drug that should help him.
