At seven months, Vladyslav was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. At that time, this disease was not treated, and for parents it was a sentence for life. However, they did not give up, and in 2009 the boy underwent a stem cell transplant in Donetsk. Then, in 2010, little Vladyslav was treated in Moscow. Unfortunately, this treatment did not bring much result, but only temporarily stopped the progression of the disease.

Over time, Vladyslav began to develop scoliosis of the thoracic-transverse spine, which is why he constantly needs to be massaged. Now the boy has scoliosis of the 4th degree. Due to severe spinal deformity and anatomical and physiological features of the structure of the vertebrae, Vladyslav needs surgery.

The doctors of the Okhmatdet suggested an operation to install an implant to straighten the boy's back. The operation itself is free, but for its implementation they need to purchase a system of implants. Its cost is 226 800 UAH. The family is not able to raise such an amount on their own, but we can all help the boy become a little healthier.

Vladyslav is very friendly, polite and observant, he has many friends and dreams of becoming a programmer. The guy believes that the day will come when he will be able to get out of the wheelchair, straighten his back and breathe deeply. May his dream come true!
