Victoria Polisiuk is a 25-year-old girl who communicates with friends, reads a lot, watches movies and studies English, she even had time to write her own book. But for 13 years Vika's bedridden and lives due to ventilator, and her body is immobilise. Because of a genetic disease – myopathy – now work only her own heart, and all above her neck. People with this disease do not live. But she lives, she wants to be happy and to find the strength to live, to fight, to dream, and to be!

Her dream is to get well, to recover from this terrible weakness, which lasted for almost 15 years. It all started with the fact that the fingers of 10-year-old girl went out of her control, and 2 years later her lungs stopped working. Vika was sent to the intensive care unit, and when she came round, she was already with a tube in her throat and did not understand what had happened. Since then, it took a lot of time, but she never went out of bed. Her mode of existence is people around her. She can see, hear, think, listen, talk, but only when exhales. After her throat is with a tube that allows her to live – literally. However, the ventilator to which she's connected day and night functions only due to her real friend that repairs this device all the time. The only thing that's most difficult is that it must be repaired beforehand without knowing which of the parts of the device would be out of order, because it has no replacement. And she can't wait too, because without this device she's doomed. The device is out of service many years ago, so there are no guarantees. Its correct work is the only hope to live for the girl.

However, her life depends not only on this device.

Once in all the district she lives the light turned off because of the accident, and the machine due to she can breathe turned off. Repair foreman said that electricity would be given only tomorrow. He did not care that a person's life depends on electricity. Vika was disconnected from the system and her lungs were pumped with air manually with a special machine. But it could not last so long. However, neighbours and other people around, knowing the problem of the family, did the impossible – they stretched electrical extension cords connected to each other, nearly for a kilometer (!) to the shop where there was a diesel generator, and kept overnight this guidance to it, for the car or a bystander didn't cut that system. It was incredible happiness when people united for help, for a common purpose for life, because the life is the most valuable thing.

The girl's friends have built a small house in the countryside for her where she is located now, a house with a garden. Her new bed on wheels allows her to take out the girl on the yard, so she could enjoy the beauty of nature. When a person is bedridden, it is better for her to notice the world around her.

But how can she live this way? The answer is simple: she lives a dream that a way to treat her illness would be ever invented, and she would have a possibility to stand up, would be able to see her friends who are far from her, would be able to visit different countries.

But now in order to breathe, Vika needs a new turbine artificial lung ventilation apparatus because her old machine may stop working at any time. Price of her life is almost 400 000 UAH. And no one can give her confidence that she could wait for the day when she'd be cured, if not you.

"The main thing is not to be disappointed, the main thing is to believe. Even if your dream doesn't come true, the way to it is great, and you are courageous on the way to it. Making wishes for it is important, seminal victory is yours... But in reality I realize that the dream is your personal way and you have to pass it yourself" these words are from her book named "I will!" But without our help she couldn't cope. She understands that she believes that there are caring people who can save her life. Vika loves the life, likes when someone close to her is happy. And then she is happy with them, because fortunately, it's not only inside yourswld, it's everywhere around.
