Little Ivan was born with a congenital defect – bilateral clubfoot of both legs. During the first 3 months of the baby's life, he and his mother went to "OKHMATDYT" every week, where the boy's legs were plastered in order to gradually bring them into the correct position. Later, at the age of 3 months, Ivan underwent an operation – an achilotomy – after which the baby spent another month in a plaster cast and after that he wore braces until he was six months old. Then there were tutors and massages and physical therapy every 3 months. When Ivan turned one year old, he started wearing orthopedic shoes.

The boy worked hard and followed all the recommendations of doctors and rehabilitators, and this brought great results: Ivan ran like other children, and later went to kindergarten. However, he stayed there for only a week: due to the fact that the boy did not speak, his parents were advised to choose another preschool. Ivan is now 5 years old and has autism spectrum disorder and speech delay, so he needs to constantly work with a speech therapist, a correctional specialist and a rehabilitation specialist, visit a sensory room and take medication.

It is worth saying that by February 24, Ivan began to pronounce some words. However, the rocket that fell near their house scared the boy very much, and he completely stopped talking. Fortunately, specialists at the rehabilitation center were able to restore Ivan's condition to what it was before the start of the full-scale war. Speech began to return to the boy! The beginning has been set, but this is far from the end of the treatment. Ivan needs rehabilitation again, and the family has no money for it. Therefore, we appeal to people with a sensitive heart: help Ivan with therapy, support our project!
