I will live for three!

There are 3 children in the Cheberko family. The smallest – Roman – was born before the deadline with a critically low weight (1,250 kg) and a height of 31 cm. Mom bleed, doctors said that the child's brain can live without oxygen for 20 minutes, and Roma stayed without him for 15 minutes. The boy was taken to the intensive care unit, where due to a sharp supply of oxygen, Roma had a cerebral hemorrhage. He was given drugs to dissolve blood, but they did not help. In the skull, cerebrospinal fluid began to gather in the cerebral ventricle, the head began to grow rapidly, the intracranial pressure increased. 

Roma was prescribed many drugs to remove this liquid from the brain. But the results were not. He was gaining weight very slowly. Parents bought a bunch of different mixtures and milk concentrates. After 1.5 months, the baby was prescribed an operation - shunting. But this did not stop the torture.

Roma began to have problems with the gastrointestinal tract. He survived more than 15 operations, many sessions of computed tomography and MRI. The shunt valve constantly stopped shaking, because of the strong pressure the brain began to decompose. Roma from the abdomen showed the tubes of the shunt so that there would be no problems with the stomach. He suffered many viral infections, the unsuccessful installation of a second shunt. Despite everything, Roma survived.

In December 2016, the boy was removed and the second shunt – compensation began. The liquid ceased to be released into the brain. Now the parents are actively fighting for the restoration of the musculoskeletal system. Roman is still a lying child. In 2017, the child underwent three rehabilitation courses in the rehabilitation center "Tomatis Ukraine" in Kharkiv. There he is given a very good massage and many other procedures that helped in the development of speech. Roma began to pronounce certain sounds, laugh, move pens and legs, respond to sounds and voices. This is a great victory, because before he did not react even to painful injections.
