I have to be treated even during the war. 2
6-year-old Vovchik Boretskyi has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, bilateral hearing loss and eye problems. The boy was born prematurely and was not breathing, so he spent a month on a ventilator. During the 6 months that the baby spent in the hospital, he experienced respiratory arrest, sleep apnea, pneumothorax, meningitis, sepsis, eye retinopathy and hearing loss. Vova did not suck milk or swallow on his own, but the doctors were able to stabilize his condition, taught the boy's mother how to insert a probe and discharged him home.
Behind this courageous boy there is already a lot of rehabilitation courses, each of which brought its own results. And the latter is no exception: after the treatment, Vova is trying to keep his head better, his spasticity has decreased and his sleep has improved.
Unfortunately, this family cannot pause treatment. Even despite the war, even despite the lack of funds to pay for therapy. Vova's diagnoses do not forgive long breaks, because deterioration and regression of the state may immediately appear, all acquired skills may be lost.
Therefore, we are starting a new fundraising to pay for the rehabilitation of Vova. Support him!
