I will grow up and wear heels
Severe preterm labor, total placental abruption, bleeding – this was the chronology on the day of little Yulia's birth. Anemia, congenital pneumonia, respiratory disorders, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and retinopathy of prematurity – these were the diagnoses that came later. This is how the first three days of the girl's life passed.
No one gave any hope for the baby's life; she was in the intensive care unit and connected to a ventilator, and was fed through a tube. Due to a possible retinal detachment, Yulia underwent eye surgery, and another surgery for a strangulated right inguinal hernia.
Finally, only after 2 months the girl got home, where her older sister was waiting for her. Thus began a new stage of the baby's life, which included rehabilitation, IFC, massages and baths. At the age of 7 months, Yulia was diagnosed with a syndrome of motor disorders and developmental delay. They began to work even harder. Eventually, the treatment and hard daily work paid off: the girl started walking, her speech and cognitive processes improved. Now Yulia is a year old, and she needs to undergo systematic rehabilitation. Her parents are doing their best to do so, but their financial resources are running out. The girl's mother dreams that her daughter will grow up to wear heels and be fine. But for this, she needs our support today.
