The boy in the photo is Nikita. Instead of having a cesarean section, the expectant mother gave birth herself. The woman began to drain water, but for some reason they were dark green in color. As it turned out later, Nikita swallowed water, they filled the boy’s lungs, he could not breathe...

Nikita was saved with the help of a ventilator; for 9 days, instead of a baby, the apparatus breathed. After the boy’s condition was stabilized, he was transferred to another hospital, where doctors found a pressure sore on the back of the boy’s neck.

Subsequently, already at home, mother noticed that her son does not develop quite like other children. Then Nikita discovered cerebral palsy. Treatment began immediately. Thanks to this, the boy already knows how to babble, sit, he constantly laughs and wants to play with other children. And after the last rehabilitation course, Nikita became calmer and more attentive, he began to sit more confidently and even stand on all fours, keep his balance and stand a little. Nikita is already pronouncing separate words and new sounds.

These are very good results, but this is not the limit. If treatment is continued, these skills can be consolidated, and new ones can be acquired. However, funds in Nikita’s relatives are not enough for the boy’s ongoing rehabilitation. Therefore, we are starting a collection for a new rehabilitation course for Nikita. Support us!
