Quality medical care for the military!

The hospital for war veterans in the South of Ukraine needs medical equipment to treat patients. Up to 100 people are constantly receiving inpatient treatment at the institution. For security reasons, we cannot provide the full name of this medical institution.

The institution was founded in 1946 and since then has provided assistance to war invalids, combatants, war participants, victims of Nazi persecution, liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, and now – combatants of the Russian-Ukrainian War. Treatment, nutrition and examination of patients is provided free of charge and exclusively at the expense of the state budget.

But, unfortunately, due to a lack of funding, the institution is still not equipped with all the necessary medical equipment.

As part of this collection, we plan to purchase and transfer to the hospital:

- Biochemical analyzer;

- ECG device;

- Electric vacuum cleaner;

- Forehead illuminator.

The biochemical analyzer is used for a comprehensive examination of civilians and military personnel, the facility only has an old one that cannot cope with the load and cannot be repaired. The device is used constantly, because analysis and diagnosis are basic treatment procedures. With its help, analyzes of serum, plasma, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, etc. are performed.

There are not enough ECG machines in the institution. This device is used to diagnose the work of the heart, it is one of the main methods of examining the heart and diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, the ECG device is indispensable, so its presence in sufficient quantity is very important.

There are also not enough suction cups, and most of them are very worn and do not meet the technical requirements. This equipment is intended for suction of air and fluid from wounds and cavities during surgical operations and in the postoperative period.

There is no illuminator for polyclinic examinations at all, it is a very useful device in the event of a lack of electricity and in a situation when a patient needs surgical intervention or any other urgent care.

Today, the necessary and full supply of medical facilities of Ukraine is a guarantee of quality treatment of our military and the civilian population of Ukraine.
