Quality medical care for the military!

In April 2023, the project “Quality medical care for the military!” was posted on the dobro.ua website, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for medical equipment in the total amount of 898600.00 hryvnias for the Kherson hospital.

The fundraising lasted a year and a half, unfortunately, during this time only a small part of the funds were collected within the project. Due to the fact that the project was not successful, we stopped the fundraising, and also asked to purchase a medical suction unit, which was in the initial goal of the project, with the collected funds. The total amount of funds collected within the project is 11330.69 hryvnias, the actual amount spent on the purchase of a medical suction unit was 10,000.00 hryvnias. The remaining funds in the amount of 1330.69 hryvnias will be disposed in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures of the dobro.ua platform.

The medical suction unit "BIOMED" 7A-23V that we have donated is designed to suction air and fluid from wounds and cavities during surgical operations and in the postoperative period. There is not enough of this equipment in the institution, most of the devices are worn out and do not meet technical requirements.

Up to 200 people are under constant treatment in the hospital. The majority are patients with serious injuries who require immediate assistance. The further state of health and life of a person will depend on it.

Today, the hospital is a leading regional specialized medical and preventive institution for the provision of highly qualified consultative, diagnostic and medical and preventive medical care. A rehabilitation center has also been created on the basis of the institution, where you can get advice from a psychologist, psychiatrist, physiotherapist and other specialists.

The equipment was delivered to the hospital on November 8, 2024.
