Yana is fighting – we are there for her

  Yanochka’s childhood in Tsarychanka came to an end at nine months old when she developed viral encephalitis. She is now 15, and every day is a struggle for her.
      In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the Charitable Aid Operator Charitable Foundation ‘POMAGAYEM’ dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. No. 340 of 14 October 2025, the project ‘Yana is fighting – we are by her side’ was posted on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘UBB’ – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising donations to cover the cost of Yana Samilova’s treatment.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Charity Exchange” – dobro.ua – to purchase medicines and special dietary products for the girl. Therefore, in accordance with letter No. 615 dated 1 December 2025, we received the collected sum of 18,119.00 UAH (eighteen thousand one hundred and nineteen hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the Fund’s account and continued the fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.
      Last December, we purchased and delivered medicines and Resource Junior formula for Yana, totalling 6,496.08 UAH (six thousand four hundred and ninety-six hryvnias and 08 kopecks). 
      In February this year, Yana’s parents also approached us with a request to support the girl with medicines and food, which was provided to the total amount of 9,467.60 UAH (nine thousand four hundred and sixty-seven hryvnias, 60 kopecks). 
      Due to frequent illnesses, Yana is forced to take antibiotics regularly, which negatively affects her oxygen saturation levels. Recently, she has had to start using an oxygen concentrator, which has become vital for her.
Yana’s parents are sincerely grateful to everyone who supports them during this difficult time, providing the girl with the necessary medicines and special dietary requirements. Thanks to the help of caring people, Yana always receives everything she needs, and her condition has now improved significantly. This allows her to receive treatment on time, which has had a positive effect on her health — her oxygen saturation is stable and good, and she is feeling noticeably better.
      We plan to use the remaining unused funds of 2,155.32 UAH (two thousand one hundred and fifty-five hryvnias, 32 kopecks) to meet Yana’s needs in 2026; the project is still raising funds.
