Yaroslav should not starve

Yaroslav has a severe form of cerebral palsy. In April, he suffered from the flu, and now he can only eat with the help of a tube and breathe with the help of a tracheostomy. The doctors diagnosed protein-energy deficiency and prescribed a constant intake of the special nutrition Nutridrink Compact. The cost of food consumed per month is UAH 18,600.

During birth, Yaroslav suffered a long anhydrous period (32 hours), with the umbilical cord entwined around his neck and abdomen. In the first days of life, a hemorrhage occurred in the brain, which was discovered only on the fifth day. Time was lost; complications could not be avoided. At one year and 4 months, the child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, and severe delay in psychomotor development.

In April of this year, Yaroslav fell ill with the flu. When he began to experience severe shortness of breath a week later, he was admitted to the intensive care unit, where a tracheostomy and nasogastric tube were installed. At the same time, protein-energy deficiency and was diagnosed. At 11 years old, Yarik weighs 13 kg, while the normal average is 35 kg.

The boy can no longer eat from a spoon; now he only receives the liquid mixture Nutridrink Compact, which costs UAH 18,600 for a month.
