Yaroslav should not starve

     During birth, Yaroslav experienced a prolonged period without water (32 hours) and had the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck and abdomen. In the first days of his life, he suffered a cerebral haemorrhage, which was only discovered on the fifth day. Time was lost, and complications could not be avoided. The child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, and severe psychomotor development delay. 
In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 271 dated 2 July 2024, the project ‘Yaroslav Should Not Go Hungry’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for Yaroslav Shchukin's treatment.
Subsequently, we sent a request to transfer part of the collected funds in the amount of UAH 9,620.00 (nine thousand six hundred and twenty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to pay for special food for Yaroslav, which was done in accordance with letter No. 397 dated 11.07.2024, and continued the collection on dobro.ua. 
In August 2024, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange who closed Yaroslav's collection, we received 107,560.00 UAH (one hundred and seven thousand five hundred and sixty hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the fund's current account to pay for the child's treatment and project administration. 
Thanks to the funds received, in 2024 we purchased and delivered special food for the boy for a total amount of 58,322.60 UAH (fifty-eight thousand three hundred twenty-two hryvnias, 60 kopecks). 
In the first half of 2025, we supported Yaroslav with the necessary special food for a total amount of 34,092.00 hryvnias (thirty-four thousand ninety-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
In July, the Shchukins family again asked us to help pay for Yarik's special food, which we did for a total of 19,185.40 UAH (nineteen thousand one hundred and eighty-five hryvnias, 40 kopecks), and we also paid for the administration of the project.
The boy is feeling well. On hot summer days, he only goes for walks with his mother in a stroller early in the morning. Yarik is already 12 years old, a teenager, so he often shows his character due to a surge in hormones. Yaroslav loves listening to fairy tales, calm music, the sounds of nature, and watching cartoons with his younger brother. 
Yaroslav's mother writes to us: ‘Thanks to your help, my son always has good quality food, so he continues to gain weight and smiles more often. We are very grateful to the people who support us.’
Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.
