Yaroslav: from dreams to action

Six-year-old Yaroslav is an active and curious boy. He enjoys jumping on the trampoline, swimming in the pool, and loves musical toys. Although Yaroslav does not yet speak and only partially understands spoken language, he truly enjoys spending time with other children.

From the first months of his life, Yaroslav’s development was slower than that of his peers: he was able to hold his head only at eight months and took his first independent steps at the age of three. The reason for this is congenital brain malformations and impaired functioning of the cells responsible for energy production. As a result, Yaroslav struggles with movement, speech, and overall development.

To continue developing, he needs constant support from specialists – a speech therapist, a psychologist, and a rehabilitation therapist. This support must be ongoing, as only then does Yaroslav have the chance to acquire new skills and improve his abilities. In addition, he requires diapers and medical nutrition every day due to his low weight.

His family does everything possible to provide him with what he needs, but their resources are not enough. We aim to help them raise funds for a month-long rehabilitation course. Let’s give Yaroslav the chance for a happy childhood!
