On July 26, 2021, the project "The only chance to give Elvira eyesight!" Was posted on the UBB website, the purpose of which was to raise funds to pay for a course of treatment for Bezpala Elvira (diagnosed with cerebral palsy, optic nerve atrophy).
Optic nerve atrophy is not treated with medication and is generally difficult to treat such children can be helped by stem cells. Stem cells will regenerate dead cells, stimulate the optic nerve and involve it in the work. Doctors predict that Elvira will be able to regain vision by at least 15-20 percent.
It will take several months for the procedure to work, but we believe that Elvira will be fine and this procedure will help the girl regain her sight!
