During the rehabilitation course (July 29, 2024 to August 10, 2024), Dmitry was engaged in therapeutic physical education, therapeutic massage and heat therapy, ergo and Bobat therapy, classes with a correctional psychologist and a speech therapist. Therapeutic physical education classes help strengthen muscles, improve coordination of movements and balance, increase the amplitude of movements in the joints, reduce spasticity and prevent the development of contractures. Regular physical education classes help Dmitry develop gross motor skills (walking, running, jumping) and fine motor skills (finger movements), improve posture and overall physical endurance.
