Yegorka does not attend kindergarten due to illness. He enjoys playing with children on the playground, but the first never meets. A child has a whole set of diseases that prevent him from developing. Yegorka is the long-awaited and only child in the family of Denis and Tatiana. The couple was looking forward to the arrival of their first child. However, from the first days of life, the baby suffered from frequent respiratory diseases and lagged behind in physical development. In the summer of 2015, he was examined and the reason was established - Egor was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. Then the baby was only 9 months old ...

Cystic fibrosis is a systemic hereditary disease in which all organs that secrete mucus are affected: the bronchopulmonary system, pancreas, liver, sweat glands, salivary glands, intestinal glands, sex glands. The basis of therapeutic care for patients is a well-chosen drug therapy, regular preventive examinations and inpatient treatment during exacerbations.

“For five years we lived constantly on drugs and inhalations", says Yegor’s mother. “We were in the hospital twice a year, and the son received antibiotic therapy.” The boy is under constant supervision and registered with a pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, geneticist and cardiologist. Yegor loves to play with soldiers and robots, inventing battles and battles. He loves to be at home, the boy does not go anywhere, all the time to the hospitals. Yegorka is looking forward to when all this is over and asks God to get well.

In January of this year, Yegorka had another exacerbation and was admitted to the hospital. After examinations he was given a new diagnosis – aplastic anemia. A month ago, they also diagnosed diabetes mellitus. The boy was in a coma. He is now continuing the main treatment.

For further treatment, Yegorka needs a colony-stimulating drug Zarsio, 10 bottles of which cost UAH 9,414 and and the drug Heptral tab. 500mg No. 20 in the amount of 2 packs for the amount of 2 557 UAH. The boy's parents try to cope with their son's treatment on their own. But the family budget is not enough for these drugs. The boy's dad works at a construction site, and his mother is forced to take parental leave.
