Eva wants to get well! 3

Eva's health and serene childhood crossed out one word – cancer. Malignant tumor. Stage 4 with metastases in the liver and lungs. The life of this family turned into a nightmare. Then this tiny girl, who at that time was only a year and 2 months old, underwent 8 blocks of high-dose "chemistry", an operation to remove a tumor and part of the spine. Everything seemed to be the worst in the past. However, six months later, Eva had a relapse, and metastases reappeared in her lungs.

Then the girl was operated on again and part of the lung was removed. Subsequently, it became clear that the chemotherapy did not go unnoticed – the high-dose drugs damaged part of Eva's brain. As a result, the girl was diagnosed with mental retardation and general underdevelopment of speech with a violation of the emotional-volitional sphere and communicative behavior. Eva also has difficulties with coordination and neurology.

Eva regularly visits doctors and undergoes CT examinations, she is recommended systematic rehabilitation, which, fortunately, improves her condition. Now 5-year-old Eva already has better coordination of movements, she already feels much more confident in open space, she has made eye contact and communication with the outside world has improved.

Of course, there is still work to be done, but the results indicate the effectiveness of the treatment. It is a pity, however, due to the lack of funds in the family, Eva cannot continue the much-needed rehabilitation.
