The story of little Davyd

Davyd's mother's pregnancy was uneventful, good and enjoyable. But at the last ultrasound, tumors were found in the baby's heart and a probable diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis was made. In the seventh month of pregnancy, the mother felt that her son stopped moving and as a result – an emergency cesarean section. The baby is sent to the intensive care unit barely alive. Then came three long months of fighting for Davyd's life. His little heart can't cope with the load, doctors selected medical treatment. Mom spent many sleepless nights under the door of the intensive care unit, with the only request to the universe that her child live. And Davyd survived.

When the baby's condition has been somewhat stabilized, the doctors decide to do an MRI. After that, his mother heard something that she hoped she would never hear again. "The diagnosis of tuberous sclerosis is confirmed, there are tumors in the brain", the doctors' verdict. The doctors found suitable medical treatment for the child and sent him home.

As early as 10 months, Davyd has seizures, which is usually not uncommon with his diagnosis. In order for the child to develop and grow up normally, the doctors prescribed anticonvulsant treatment. But Davyd is growing, the frequency and number of seizures is also growing. The child is again hospitalized in the neurological department.

Davyd now takes several medications, and they help him grow at the same level as his peers and remain a happy child. But because of the war and the fact that the dosage increases every time, it became problematic for my mother to purchase these medicines on her own. Therefore, the mother asks to help little Davyd to improve his chances for a normal life and to provide him with vitally necessary medicines.
