The story of one girl with a big heart!
Olga is a wonderful, creative, talented, conscientious girl who will always give a helping shoulder in hard times, her mother says. The child is a pupil of the 5th form of Klekotyna secondary school (Shargorod, Vinnytsia region). She receives her education at home; her teachers walk 6 km on the way to her every day. She waits for them so happily, her deep grey eyes sparkle. Olia appreciates her teachers’ coming; she’s very diligent and makes every effort in order to learn our world through investigating different sciences. Unfortunately, this girl suffers from speech retardation. That’s why she speaks her own particular language which mostly everyone understands.
In addition to that, she has locomotor ataxia and hearing disorder. As the child’s mother says, Olia tirelessly undergoes treatment and rehabilitation: from hospital to hospital, from the rehabilitation centre to all-inclusive rehabilitation centre, from camp to sanatorium… And this is still not the whole path, according to circumstances. The kid has a lot of friends from her childhood who help her socializing and adapting to life. They often bathe kittens and puppies in camp, go for ice-cream, sing songs and play ball outdoors. This is the happiest childhood everyone dreams of – true friendship, sincerity, kindness, scratched knees but always together.
Olga takes an active part in many competitions, including school, district and regional ones. She has recently won in the XХVІІ regional festival of creativity and talents of children and youth with functional restrictions “Believe in yourself”; she won valuable presents and awards for work of authorship in the nomination “owls in love”, a soft toy. The girl’s happy to grow up in a friendly and loving family. Parents bring up 4 daughters. They try to do everything for the little angel to make her undergoing the best rehabilitations, talk to specialists who can help Olya to get better; they can receive rewards for courage, endurance, and patience every day.
However, it costs a lot of money. Now the kid needs to undergo 2 courses of treatment at Bersenev Medical Center. Let’s help Olga in her further development and treatment!
