Every year more than 30 children in Lviv need operations to remove tumors of the brain and spine. At present, some of these operations cannot be carried out in Lviv due to the lack of special equipment, and then families are forced to go abroad to rescue their children. The cost of treatment abroad reaches 70-100 thousand EUROs, and while the family finds these funds, the child loses invaluable time. Often this moment comes too late, and the child still becomes disabled or dies.

To prevent this from happening and so that the child can get all the help he needs here at home in Lviv, qualitatively and immediately, as soon as the problem is identified, we want to create a system of neurosurgical care for children with brain and spinal tumors on the basis of the Department of Neurosurgery of "Lviv Children's Clinical Hospital". Neuromonitoring equipment is an important component of this system. During the operation on the brain, every extra millimeter of intervention is crucial, so high-precision equipment that will allow you to see the smallest details during the operation is essential.
