Yurko dreams of a life without pain
Yuriy was only a year and nine months old when he fell ill. The doctors' diagnosis was disappointing – type 1 diabetes. Since then, every day has been a struggle for his parents to maintain a stable blood glucose level. Constant injections, glucometer checks, nights without sleep and rest – it has become a part of their lives. Yura is still very young, but he already understands that his mom or dad often pierce his fingers to find out if his “sugar” is normal. But it is painful and scary, especially at night, when he just wants to sleep, not wake up because of the necessary measurement.
Doctors advised parents to buy their child sensors for round-the-clock glucose measurement. These small devices can make Yuriy's life much easier. They will constantly monitor the sugar level and give a signal if it becomes too high or low. This will help to avoid dangerous conditions, reduce the number of finger punctures and ensure calm nights for the kid and the whole family. The sensors will become invisible assistants that will help Yura grow and develop without constant pain and fear. Thanks to them, Yuriy will be able to be an ordinary boy: run, play, explore the world without thinking that his health is at risk.
For the little boy, who is only one year and nine, the sensors will mean more than just comfort – they will give him a chance for a full childhood. The parents dream that very soon Yuriy will feel what it is like to live without constant pain and anxiety.
