Katia is being treated at the hematology department of the Dnepropetrovsk regional children's hospital. The girl's family lives in the village, where mother is raising three children. Father, alas, in their lives does not take any part. Katiusha is in the hospital alone, without her mother. From many worries and sleepless nights her mom's immune system was weakened and she got sick. Given that Katie has immunity ten times below the permissible limits, the doctors forbade ailing mother to be in the same room with girl. Mentally mom is there, but... only mentally.
