Musical fairy tale therapy: give your child happiness

«Musical fairy tale therapy for kids» is created by fairy teller Kateryna Yegorushkina in collaboration with musician Stephan Nederytsya. Creative duet has already published 2 books with authors’ background music. Project became extremely successful. The aim of this project is to raise 20000 UAH to publish books and present them to the kindergartens, musical schools and libraries all over Ukraine.

How fairy tale sounds? Does it have the voice of mother? Or, perhaps, fairy tale smiles from the moustache of the grandfather? Or whispering tenderly, like a grandmother near your bed? Or, maybe, your fairy tale guffaws together with a father? Or rounds with snickers among your older brothers and sisters?

Fairy tales of Kateryna Yegorushkina have their own voices! Even if you’re going to read them very silently, the real music of miracle will sound.

And the reason is not only because every book is accompanied with special CD, music in which is connected with songs of dolphins and whales, snowflakes and snow…And even not because of golden notes on the sky cover of the pages or playing splashing of waves…

“The aim of the project is to combine therapeutic influence of the fairy tale with healing music. To make children able to discover the world of notes and develop their musical taste. Many talented children leave their studies in musical schools because the methodological tools do not inspire children and the drilling substitute individual approach. I wanted to create the issue of books about music, having educational and therapeutic effect. I suppose to make it successful. This project is unique because in fairy form a child takes basic musical notions and at the same moment learns diligence and hard-working, how to make dreams true, is inspired by fabulous world of music, and discovers the power of its influence. Strangeness of idea is in its creation by fairy teller-therapist with philological and psychological education in cooperation with musician and musical therapist. It means that a book is binary – the story is created by me and musical cover - by Stephan. The most interesting and useful our books will be for family reading. Because in the stories it is said about psychological problems, solved by the characters. It helps the parents, teachers and educators to make a special connection with children. We have many of good comments from small and adult readers. Somebody started to learn music thanks to our books…This result is very inspiring!”, Kateryna Yegorushkina.
