To date, the Kehychivs'ka community has hosted more than 5,000 displaced people who were forced to leave their homes. About 1,400 of them are children. In the Kharkiv region, the AFU liberated a huge area from the occupants, but it is still impossible to return there. Even if houses have been saved, there is still no electricity, gas or water supply, and vast tracts of land are insidiously mined by the enemy.
It is almost impossible to survive the winter in these conditions, especially for families with children. The lack of jobs, the huge shortage of humanitarian aid, and constant power outages make the lives of internally displaced people simply unbearable; people have nowhere to get food, they do not know how to feed their children, and what will happen next.
In order to help the most vulnerable categories of IDPs – families with children, and to support about 3,000 people in general, we intend to raise funds for 1,400 food kits.
Each package of foodstuffs costs 650 UAH, and includes: 2 kg of pasta, 2 packages of rice, 2 packages of cereals, 1 package of sugar, 1 bottle of oil, 2 cans of stewed meat, 3 cans of canned fish, 1 package of tea and sweets (cookies, chocolate, condensed milk or wafers). This is enough food for 4-5 weeks for one person and 2 weeks for a family, if eaten rationally.
We ask everyone who cares to join our gathering to provide food for the displaced families
