   Bilal from Zalishchyky in the Ternopil region cannot hear, speak or walk. His whole world is his mum, Maryam, who is by his side every day: looking after him, hugging him and loving him. Right now, they desperately need support to provide the boy with Resource Junior specialised formula for half a year.
      In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the charitable aid operator, the Charitable Foundation ‘POMAGAYEM’, dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. No. 348 of 21 January 2026, the project ‘Unique, but not defeated by illness.3’ was published on the website of the International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – with the aim of raising donations to cover the cost of Mohammad Bilal’s treatment.
      During the fundraising campaign, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ – dobro.ua – to purchase special dietary products for the young man. Therefore, in accordance with letters No. 48 dated 28 January 2026, No. 148 dated 15 April 2026 and No. 291 dated 2 July 2026, we received the following amounts raised: 17,000.00 UAH (seventeen thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks), 5,779.00 UAH (five thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and 3,962.00 UAH (three thousand nine hundred and sixty-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks) into the fund’s account and continued the fundraising campaign on the dobro.ua platform.
      Thanks to the funds raised, in February this year we purchased and delivered Resource Junior specialised formula for Bilal, totalling 11,317.50 UAH (eleven thousand three hundred and seventeen hryvnias, 50 kopecks). In March, 5,682.50 UAH (five thousand six hundred and eighty-two hryvnias, 50 kopecks) was allocated for its purchase, and in April – 5,779.00 UAH  (five thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in July – 3,962.00 UAH (three thousand nine hundred and sixty-two hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      Fortunately, following yet another flare-up of his intestinal problems, Bilal’s condition has stabilised and his appetite has improved noticeably. However, such flare-ups recur approximately every three weeks and are accompanied by severe pain.
      Every day, his mum gives Bilal the attention he needs and provides proper care, doing her utmost to maintain his condition and make him feel better. Despite all the difficulties, Bilal loves swimming and enjoys spending time in the water, floating in the river on an inflatable ring.
      Furthermore, the need for constant care and essential medical supplies remains significant. Due to frequent flare-ups of his bowel problems, this year has been particularly difficult for him, so the main priority at present is to maintain his stable condition and provide the necessary care.
      The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all donors and benefactors at dobro.ua for their constant support, care and assistance, which give them the strength to overcome difficulties and not lose hope.
      At present, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child’s needs; the project is still raising funds.
