Art therapy for Kharkiv residents and IDPs

Kharkiv suffers from russian shelling every day. You can count on your fingers the "quiet" days when Kharkiv residents did not hear the sounds of explosions. Unfortunately, every explosion affects a person's mental state, creates injuries, and increases the level of stress. In the circumstances in which Kharkiv residents and forcibly displaced persons from the region find themselves, constant psychological help from specialists is needed. Thanks to the project "Group rehabilitation therapy sessions for families with children affected by russia's military aggression in Ukraine", which has been operating since 2022, a large number of people have already received psychological services and continue to receive them now.

Within the scope of the project, the beneficiaries take part in group art therapy activities that help them reduce the level of internal tension, improve their psycho-emotional state, switch their attention to creative activities, etc. According to the feedback of our beneficiaries, they feel relief and improvement immediately after the procedures. The fund has everything necessary for art therapy, except funds for materials: pencils, paints, paper, etc. It is for this item of expenditure that this collection is opened.

We ask you to support the project of psychological assistance to residents of Kharkiv and forcibly displaced persons who moved to the city in search of shelter. Thanks to the collected funds, the fund will be able to purchase everything necessary for holding art therapy meetings. The amount of the fee is small and amounts to UAH 5,346. We believe that together we will be able to overcome the devastating consequences of the war for Ukrainians and preserve the strength to rebuild our country after victory. Thank you!
