Kharkiv. Gifts for children from Mykolaychyk

Every year, St. Nicholas Day opens a kaleidoscope of Christmas and New Year's holidays. Children are waiting for the magician, looking under their pillows in the morning in the hope of finding a tasty gift. They continue to wait for him even in times of war. Today we are launching a fundraiser to buy gift sets for children with disabilities who live in Kharkiv and are beneficiaries of our project "Social Services for Families with Children".

This project has been running since 2012 and supports families in difficult life circumstances. This list includes families with many children, families with people with disabilities, and single-parent families in difficulty. Forced relocation, job loss, loss of a breadwinner, serious illness or physical disability can all lead to a family falling out of the usual rhythm of life and financial stability.

The amount of money raised is quite small – UAH 6,274, but it will allow the foundation's employees to give 8 children paints, colored pencils, brushes, other art supplies, and candy for fruit. This is the usual set of goods that a child receives for the holidays, but families in difficult life circumstances with a child with special needs cannot always afford it. We invite you to join us in giving children a sense of magic, kindness, joy and faith in the future.
