Zhenya recently fell ill, and her rehabilitation had to be suspended. She has now recovered and has started working with a neuro-speech therapist. The girl has also undergone genetic testing, and her family is eagerly awaiting the results.

Zhenya has tetraparesis, epilepsy, and lactose intolerance. She is fed a special lactose-free Nutrilon formula through a feeding tube.

Zhenya is an extremely emotional and kind girl. She adores her stuffed tiger and never parts with it. Zhenya has two brothers and a sister who love her very much.

The family currently lives in a rented house. Their home was damaged in April 2022 when a rocket exploded just outside their fence. Miraculously, everyone survived: when they heard the siren, they managed to hide in the hallway. Later, they found their kitten under the rubble, frightened but alive.
