A boy from an IDP family needs help
Nikita was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes more than a year ago. Of course, since then, the life of this boy and his family has changed radically. His parents, in addition to Nikita, have two other minor children. Today, raising three children, one of whom requires special nutrition and a difficult lifestyle, is very difficult for parents. At the same time, Nikita's mother is constantly attentive to him, even going to school with him and monitoring his blood sugar. Only his father can work, he is a welder. The Nesterenko family are internally displaced persons.
Nikita is in the 3rd grade of a lyceum in the village of Nova Borova, Zhytomyr region, where the family now lives. The boy studies hard and attends school with joy. He likes to draw and build Lego. The boy used to take part in karate classes, but with diabetes it became impossible. Nikita is good at establishing relationships with his peers and has many friends.
His parents are unable to provide Nikita with all the medical devices necessary for diabetes. The boy already has an insulin pump, but it requires constant consumables worth a considerable amount. The sensors greatly simplify the life of the boy and his family, but they are no longer able to buy them. For an IDP family with three children, this is an unbearable expense. The mother is asking people to respond to her son's needs.
