The boy's sight can be restored

Kyrylo from Kyiv region is nine years old. Two years ago, the child had an accident: the boy was driven by curiosity and climbed into an open transformer box. Unfortunately, fate did not forgive him for his indiscretion. Kirill received an electric shock.

The consequences of the electric shock were significant. The child underwent several skin transplants and, as it seemed at the time, fatal consequences were avoided. But a year later, ophthalmologists made a disappointing diagnosis: he was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. Now Kyrylo can't see out of one eye at all, and constantly squints with the other to see anything.

This active and inquisitive boy has a peculiarity – Kyrylo lives with mental and speech developmental delays. Despite this, he plays hide and seek and other lively games with his brothers, goes to school and has friends. He enjoys playing with a ball and spends a lot of time walking in the woods and near rivers. But his childhood cannot be full because of his almost complete lack of sight.

Okhmatdyt's doctors are ready to help the boy get his sight back. This can be done by installing artificial lenses in the eyes. But the parents have to buy the crystals themselves. This family has three sons, the eldest is ten years old and the youngest is five. The family lives very modestly. The parents work, but their income is not enough for the treatment of the middle son.
