Shelter for IDPs in Khmelnytskyi region

The dobro.ua is grateful to the Ukraine Relief Fund for the contribution in the amount of UAH 561 483 made through the "dobro.ua - Ukraine above all".

The charity initiative Ukraine Relief Fund was founded by Viktor and Olena Pinchuk and the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation, Eric and Wendy Schmidt and Schmidt Futures, Robert F. Smith and Vista Equity Partners, the Minderoo Foundation of Andrew and Nicola Forrest, Bill Ford and the General Atlantic Foundation.

Thanks to the implementation of the project "Shelter for IDPs in Khmelnytskyi region"  four municipal institutions of the Staroushytskyi community were arranged, on the territory of which there are more than 1029 internally displaced persons, namely: Podilskyi Lyceum, Nefedivsky ZDO, Goraiv School and Staroushytsky Territorial Center for Social Services, and the Center for Hygiene.

In particular, within the framework of the project the following goods were purchased and transferred free of charge to the balance of Staroushytskyi village council for the needs of IDPs: 52 units of household appliances (4 electric stoves, 6 washing machines, 7 irons, 5 refrigerators, 15 electric kettles, 4 microwave ovens, 3 TV sets, 4 freezers, 4 water heaters), 8 laptops, 50 bedroom sets (blanket + pillow) and 253 bedding sets.

In addition, the purchased laptops, which were intended to provide education for IDP children, will be distributed to institutions where students live. Bedding and linen are distributed according to the ratio of the number of IDPs living in this institution.
