“When Artur was 8 years old, he first uttered the word “MOTHER”, and after 2 weeks “FATHER”. Strong love, faith, patience and great efforts work wonders,” Artur's mother, Irina, is sure of this.

Artur is already 9 years old. He and his sister are twins, were born prematurely. Artur was less fortunate: with a weight of 960 grams, he lived for 4 months on artificial ventilation. Due to hypoxia, the baby's brain was severely damaged. This caused epilepsy. Until now, severe frequent convulsions do not allow the child to live normally, and anti-seizure medications only turn him into a “veggie”. In addition to epilepsy, Artur's list of diagnoses includes cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis. But this does not frighten the Kerimov family at all.

Rehabilitation courses, constant adjustment of the types of therapies (anticonvulsant, antispasmodic, immune-enhancing), as well as regular consultations of leading neurosurgeons - this is where Artur began and how he lives now. Step by step, he hurries to catch up with his sister.

In order to achieve maximum results from the rehabilitation, Artur was prescribed to wear orthoses. These special devices help small patients with cerebral palsy to partially or completely regain mobility and independence in movement, improve the quality of life, and accelerate the dynamics of rehabilitation. And each of us is able to help in acquiring this important device for Artur.
