I want to run in the morning dew: july, oktober 2016

So God decided that my son Denis was born a very sick child. He had a brain hemorrhage and hydrocephalus. He was born premature with a weight of 2 kg. From the birth he was diagnosed with a cerebral palsy and doctors tried to talk me into giving up the child, saying that i was still young and could give birth to another child...! For six years already I have been a supporting mother in a literal meaning of this word.

In his six years old Denis cannot stand on his own even though he is trying so hard. He relies on me, on my help. How can I give up? We were given a great hope that Denis will walk in the clinic of Dr. Koziavkin. And since I raise my child on my own I have no funds for the expensive rehabilitations to my great pity!

This year we went to the first communion in the church. It is impossible to tell how big was my pain seeing other kids walking to the priest, while I'm taking my son in a wheelchair. But I believe that God will have mercy on Denis.

We were given a great hope for Denis's walking in the clinic of Dr. Koziavkin. Thanks to doctors there my son started to develop. He began to speak distinctly, knows many poems, he can count, sing and loves music. Denis began to confidently stand on his feet and to stand up and sit down on his own! He will still not be able to sit for a long time, but for us it still means a lot. And after the last treatment he started to crawl, which he couldn't do before.

I know my child and I know what will helps him. That's why I would like to continue the rehabilitations in this clinic. But since I raise my child on my own I have no funds for treatment. Other children of his age ride bikes, beg parents to buy a phone. While my son begs God for help every day, he asks to start walking on his own. And I ask all of you, mothers, fathers and all the indifferent people, please, help Denis to come closer to his dream and start walking just like the other kids...
