Eight-year-old Kyrylo finished 3rd grade this year. He loves playing, dreams of learning to swim, and of living like all other children. But instead of a carefree childhood, the boy is forced to live with type 1 diabetes – an illness that will accompany Kyrylo throughout his life.

Every day he needs to measure his blood sugar, wear an insulin pump, and receive insulin. Even at night his parents cannot sleep peacefully, as they constantly worry about their son's condition.

Kyrylo needs continuous monitoring. Continuous glucose monitoring sensors help detect dangerous changes in blood sugar in time and make the boy's life safer. But they must be used continuously, as diabetes does not go away. Thanks to continuous monitoring, the boy will be able to devote more time to childhood, to learning, and to fulfilling his dream – learning to swim.
