Illness steals my time

"If there is a bombing, there is no electricity for almost a day. We have a supermarket nearby, we go there to breathe when there is no electricity, they have a generator, the administration allows it," Yegor's mother writes to us. For 7 years since Yegor's birth, the family has been fighting a war against the severe genetic disease cystic fibrosis. They do not leave Kharkiv because they have good reasons to stay.

Yegor is kind, playful, loves to draw, sculpt, build, fool around, and is in the first grade. But a serious illness constantly steals his time: most of the day is spent on inhalations, taking pills, and physiotherapy. At the age of seven, he has learned to endure and bravely endure drips, injections, constant tests, and long inhalations. 

Treatment for cystic fibrosis must be daily and lifelong, and cannot be interrupted. The mother realizes that she and her son cannot cope with the war on their own. Therefore, she asks for help in paying for a charging station for the inhaler, so that he can inhale at home, not in the supermarket. Yegor also needs medicines for his liver: cystic fibrosis affects not only the lungs, but the entire body. And for physiotherapy, the boy needs a special breathing simulator. All of this is necessary for Yegor to breathe freely, grow and just live.

Yegor is a dreamer, he believes that he will travel to different countries, go to Japan; he will become a military man and help the weak. His dreams give his mother hope and strength to fight. Help her fight her son's illness!
