Illness can take away Sofia's health
Sofia was born on the 27th week – 3 months earlier – so she immediately got into intensive care. Doctors performed eye surgery on the girl, and on the 4th day after the birth of the baby, she had a cerebral hemorrhage. As a result, they were subsequently diagnosed with cerebral palsy and spastic tetraparesis in Sofia. After discharge from the hospital – and this is 2.5 months after the birth of the girl – the daily painstaking struggle for Sofia's health began.
Massages, physiotherapy exercises, medicines: the result after such treatment was subtle. So far, the girl's parents have not turned to rehabilitation doctors. After the very first classes in a rehabilitation center in Sofia, the first victories appeared: she began to hold her head, turn over, hold objects and food in her hands, play with toys. However, at her age she lags far behind her peers in physical development: Sonya still does not sit, crawl, or walk.
In order for the girl to become independent and learn basic skills, she needs high-quality systematic rehabilitation, which Sofia's relatives are no longer able to pay. While she is still at the age when she can be put on her feet, there is no time to waste. If this does not happen, the disease can take away Sophia's health and in return leave her with a deep disability. Don't let this happen!
