Clown nose for recovery

The Clown School in Dnepropetrovsk has been underway for a year, preparing the masters of clowning to work with children in local hospitals. Our Clowns in the department are cheerful friends and assistants, always looking forward to it and always reluctant to let go of both children and parents. Now there is a serious problem-lack of funds and sponsors for equipment and props. As a result, there is no money to buy even colorful balloons and clown noses.

Autumn sang in the works of poets, artists and musicians: "Golden Time" love and travelers. The only people in a minor key due to the fall are pupils and students. Frankly, I do not remember any joyful September firsts in the 15 years of study. I wonder why? I'm sure the point here is not at all an unwillingness to learn.

You should have seen how I ran to classes in the Latin-American dances! And during the summer we had eager younger and older people in the Clown School, even though they knew the beginning of September was coming! What is the driving force behind the magic is this? Beautiful dress, clown noses ... Doing business with the accessories? Or is it feeling like a queen of the dance floor in this very bright beautiful dress? Or the opportunity to be myself without masks and conventions thanks to the ridiculous clown spout?

What is the result? That's what really motivates! When people clearly know the answers to the questions "what?", "how" and "why?" The answers build relationships among them and they become part of a properly working system. As a result, a sense of job satisfaction provides motivation that strengthens them for new achievements! Losing even a single resource, will result in that the system crashing…

But in our school, students can actually see, feel and enjoy the fruits of their labor. The Clown School started in Dnepropetrovsk in September 2012. The students under the strict guidance of “Torch” learned not to be afraid to be silly and funny, studying the art and science of hospital clowning. After graduation our certified professionals Nafanya, Petrunya, Sonia, and Niusha Kalyaka-Malyaka safely roam the seven departments of the two children's hospitals on their own, without the support of a flashlight. But this is a drop in the sea ... oh how Dnepropetrovsk hospitals are in need of Clown Doctors! Yes, and those who wish to study at the School of clowns now form more than two groups, but there is no money to equip a third group. What is a funny clown without a red nose and colorful beads? To help the school to meet its budget, we need only 49500 UAH. And then our school will open its doors to all who wish to study hospital clowning and bring joy to children!
