Books for "Dacha"

The Dieslovo Charity Store is the first charity bookstore in Ukraine. The bookstore was founded 5 years ago by the volunteers who wanted to give to charity and promoted reasonable consumption. During this time, the initiative raised more than 350,000 UAH to help those in need.

How does it work? Book lovers donate their books to the bookstore. Volunteers sell them at events, in particular at the International Book Festival Arsenal. All the proceeds go to charity.

This year the DieSlovo Charity Bookstore supports the construction of the Center for Children Affected by Cancer Dacha. Dacha is the only center in Ukraine that hosts families who have children with cancer for free during their treatment at the National Cancer Institute. The Center has been maintained by the Charitable Foundation Zaporuka since the day of its inauguration. Over 10 years Dacha has provided free accommodation for 1108 families from all over Ukraine.

Now Dacha is located in a rented house. However, soon Dacha kids will move to their own modern house where all possible conditions will be created for them to get well quickly. Thousands of people have already joined the campaign for the construction of the New Dacha!

How you can join?

- You can donate your favorite read books for a good cause.
- You can buy a book at a charity store and thus make a donation for the Dacha construction.
- You can organize a book event online: public reading, lectures, etc.
- You can share this good news with your friends!
