Sviatoslav is a loving husband and the father of a little boy, Myshko, who is fighting every day for the right to be heard. Just a few years ago, he lived an active and joyful life – working, joking with friends, making plans, and eagerly waiting for the birth of his son. In 2020, everything changed when he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), an incurable disease that gradually takes away a person’s ability to move and speak while leaving the mind completely clear.

Today, Sviatoslav can barely use his hands, and his voice is slowly fading for the outside world. Yet inside, he remains the same caring, devoted father who longs to talk to his son, continue working, and support his family. His wife cannot work because she provides constant care for him, and his income is no longer enough to cover daily needs and the cost of essential assistive technology.

The only way for Sviatoslav to stay connected is an eye-tracking device – Tobii Dynavox PCEye 5. This device will allow him to type, communicate, work remotely, and truly be present in his son’s life – not as a silent observer, but as a father with a voice. This project is not about technology; it is about dignity, connection, and giving a father the chance to remain himself, even as ALS tries to take everything away.
