Colored parcels

Everyone has its memories and dreams. Everyone had a lot of dreams in his childhood. They were colored, kind, sometimes fantastic or a little bit unrealizable… But we all have them. We were drawing, noting, fixing, keeping this memories and continuing to dream at the same time… But unfortunately in our society, there’re children who dream more than else. Their dreams are the most potential, most paintive… And their memories aren’t always colored… This children are from Ukrainian orphanages… “The book about me” is their chance to have not only the future, but also to know their past about first years of life.

Every child has dreams and memories. They can be nice, colored, different… - they should be kept. Psychologists believe that every pupil from orphanage should have a book about childhood – existing of child’s memories is very important for future perception and identity formation. This book can also help a foster family to understand the child, to know his character, preferences. Today in Ukraine we have 104 000 children deprived of parental care. Almost everyone leaves in orphanage with one, maximum two, common photos from New Year celebrations…

Create, draw, help! – announces the company “Nova Poshta” and starts this charitable action dedicated to its 15 anniversary in common with Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace.

Create, draw, help! – organizers of this great initiative invite everyone who cares, who wants make good and creative staffs. We invite those which dreams are became truth and which memories are holding in thick colored albums.

This action will complain in two stage

The first stage - creative
We invite artists and caring people to start this good deed. On the site you could find everything to create your unique design of parcel for “Nova Poshta” (until 10/10/2016). After open voting, the chosen designs would decorate the special “Colored parcels” and would be print by many thousand copies. You can find conditions and rules of the contest here: 

The second stage – postal
Everyone could buy a “Colored Parcel” in the “Nova Poshta”’s offices. It will cost 1 UAH in plus. This money will be spent on printing the “Book about me” – the personal album where children deprived of parental care could keep their stories, memories and dreams. We promise you to deliver your colors and your sincerity to this children from all Ukraine aged till 6 years. Every hryvna will be transfer to the project.

The first 500 specimen of the “Book about me” appeared in 2010. Children which received them were complaining the books by theirs photos, drawings, valuables and so important memories. “Book about me” proved its necessity and importance. Our goal is to present the “Book about me” to all children till 6 years staying in orphanage from all regions in Ukraine. To complete this goal we should gather 496 800 UAH and print 4 500 specimen of the book.
