Comfort and safety for newborns in Dnipro

Some babies are born before we have a chance to prepare for them. Premature babies enter the world extremely vulnerable, and from their very first moments, their lives require special attention, precision, and care. For them, it’s not just medical treatment that matters, but also their environment-one that is stable, safe, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail.

At the Regional Medical Center for Family Health in Dnipro*, such children are cared for every day. Teams of doctors work here, literally holding lives in their hands and doing everything possible to ensure that even the smallest patients have a chance at a healthy future. But this requires not only knowledge and experience, but also the right equipment.

Today, the department urgently needs to replace its special bath-beds for newborns. This functional equipment allows for the safe care of infants, daily hygiene procedures, examinations, and movement within the department. These cribs ensure the baby’s proper positioning, comfort, and constant access for medical staff, which is critically important for children with low birth weight and unstable conditions.

Over time, the equipment wears out, while the number of premature babies in need of care does not decrease. That is why there is now a need to purchase 20 new baby baths to ensure proper care conditions for every child. 

This project is about very concrete help. It’s about the opportunity to create a space for the youngest patients where they will be safe from the very first days of life.
