For the third consecutive year, the company ESKA Capital has refused corporate gifts in favor of charity. This is a social initiative of a powerful leasing company, which has been helping micro, small and medium businesses in Ukraine for more than 10 years. New Year – the undisputed leader in the gifted race. But it is better to give gifts that really need. The ESKA Capital team decided this year to send help to save the lives of premature babies.

Every year in the world about 15 million children are born prematurely. In Ukraine, according to statistics, it is every 15th child. These impatient babies are very fragile and weak, their life completely depends on proper nursing and modern medical equipment. A child born weighing less than 1500 grams, is faced with problems of the respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive and nervous systems. That is why prematurity is one of the main causes of infant mortality in the world. Unfortunately, Ukrainian hospitals today do not have sufficient funding, and doctors are not able to save the lives of children without special devices. The goal of our company on the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays is to correct this situation. Thanks to this charity project, we will purchase and transfer 2 modern pulse oximeters for premature babies in the hospital.

The pulse oximeter is the most important monitoring tool in modern nursing practice. This is a non-invasive medical device that checks the level of oxygen in the blood and gives an alarm, only detects a dangerous shift. This, at first glance, the uncomplicated and small device has a rather complicated principle of operation. If to describe in a nutshell, the pulse oximeter consists of a sensor with LEDs (two different waves – infrared and red), a microprocessor and a display. Sensors emit light that passes through tissue and is absorbed by the blood. The degree of absorption depends on the degree of oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in the blood.
All data is processed by a microprocessor and fed to the display in the form of digital values or graphs. The device remembers the previous values, allowing to study the entire history of the disease clearly. Without them, monitoring by the baby’s life indicators is impossible. It is very important that each child has his own device.

Two pulsoximeters from ESKA Capital will be sent to the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center and to the Lviv Communal City Children's Clinical Hospital, which needs it. This is not a random choice. ESKA Capital works effectively in all regions of Ukraine, and our team is convinced that it is financial patriotism, cooperation and social responsibility of entrepreneurs that can unite the country.
Refusal from corporate gifts is a great opportunity to provide Ukrainian doctors with the necessary medical equipment and give them the opportunity to save the lives of children.

We wish our Partners and Customers in the New Year 2019 good health, peace, love, profits and the joy of doing good deeds! Perhaps, right now an impatient rescued future world champion, an outstanding artist, Nobel Prize winner or president of the country is smiling at us.
