Seven years ago, a healthy and long-awaited boy Kostia was born in an ordinary Kyiv family. Until 1 year and 8 months, the child developed in accordance with his age, but later the mother began to notice changes in the behavior and health of her son. Kostia stopped responding to his mother, began to imitate strange sounds, he periodically began to vomit, motor skills disappeared, and allergic rashes to food appeared all over the boy's body. The child became uncontrollable, hyperactive, irritable, and aggressive. He stopped sleeping and behaved very restlessly both day and night.

Mom began to turn to specialists, and Kostia was prescribed medication, which temporarily improved the symptoms, but did not solve the problems. The child's behavior problems worsened, Kostia began banging his head, screaming, running, falling to the floor, and throwing tantrums in public places. Kostia took courses of a psychologist, ABA therapy, went to the pool, and at 2 years and 8 months he got a consultation with a child psychiatrist, who diagnosed Kostia with child autism and prescribed the necessary treatment. Unfortunately, it did not bring the desired results either: Kostik became selective in his food, completely stopped responding to people. The boy's health was deteriorating before our eyes.

Then his mother turned to genetics, and the results of additional tests showed that Kostik's body does not absorb many foods, including dairy products. The conclusion of the doctor after diagnosis is a metabolic disorder, a violation of the gastrointestinal tract, postpartum brain hypoxia. All this became the reason for such behavior and condition of the child. Kostia was prescribed a special diet and biomedical correction. Fortunately, the prescribed therapy improved Kostik's condition: he became calmer, began to react to his mother, and his aggression decreased.

Now the boy needs to follow a diet, take medications, systematically take tests and undergo examination, but the mother, who is raising her son on her own, does not have such funds. All of her resources are now used to provide her child with adequate nutrition, care and treatment. Therefore, we are starting to raise funds for Kostik's treatment.

Kostia is a kind, sweet and gentle boy. He loves to swim, ride a scooter, he knows how to be happy, but he does not communicate with other children yet and loves to be alone and listen to music. He also loves big dogs. Friends, Kostia can still be helped, but he cannot cope without you!
